NOT IMPRESSED

NOT IMPRESSED
Urban Cats Collection
The world keeps trying to impress him. It keeps failing.
NOT IMPRESSED brings the BOH! CAT to a larger scale, turning its silent presence into the dominant element of the composition. Surrounded by layers of spray paint, graffiti marks, fragments and colour, the figure remains still, staring back with an expression somewhere between scepticism, detachment and quiet judgement.
The contrast between the visual noise of the urban surface and the simplicity of the cat creates the tension at the centre of the work: everything around him demands attention, yet he seems completely untouched by it.
At 100 × 70 cm, the BOH! CAT is no longer a small character inside the image — it becomes a presence confronting the viewer.
